Make It Happen

Make It Happen was created as part of UC Santa Cruz’s campaign to inspire alumni to reconnect with the university and support the people, ideas, and experiences that make a difference there. I developed the story and brought the piece from concept to completion, serving as writer, director, cinematographer, and editor. The film uses a personal, story-driven approach to show how the impact of giving extends beyond a financial contribution—it helps create opportunities and make meaningful experiences possible for the next generation of Banana Slugs. The goal was to create something that felt less like a traditional fundraising appeal and more like an authentic reflection of the connection alumni have with their university.
